SBI PO preliminary exam is intended to measure verbal skills, quaint, and analytical reasoning. The exam consists 100 questions with 100 marks. The exam is conducted online on SBI official website both in English and Hindi languages. The exam is supposed to be done in 60 minutes.

The preliminary exam units are the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The question in the preliminary exam is tricky and confusing. The candidates can waste a lot of time on a single question if not careful. This calls for adequate preparation for the candidate to answer the question effectively.
SBI PO Mains Syllabus 2018 and Exam Pattern
The SBI PO main examination covers the descriptive and objective part of the exam. The test is done online on SBI website. The objective part consists of 200 marks and the descriptive part 200 marks making a total of 250 marks. The results for the main exam are included in the final results of SBI PO exams.

The main exam is further divided into other three 4 section with separate timing and the total time is 3 hours. Candidates to pass this section they have to attain set marks by SBI examination body. The descriptive test writing skills for both essay and letter writing. The test is conducted in 30 minutes which consist of 50 marks converted to 25 marks in the final results.
SBI PO Descriptive Paper Syllabus
This is a technical unit which candidates must master and pass well especially in the main exam. The main units include; Essay and Paragraph writing, letter writing, reading comprehensions and precis writing.
Candidates who complete their preparation in SBI PO syllabus they always have an easy time in the exam period. They can answer key questions and score the required marks.
Adequate preparation also gives the candidates confidence in writing the exam which improves the performance. After the candidates prepare they take the exams at the stated time by SBI and then wait for the results. SBI PO Interview 2018
Depending on the number of vacancies available SBI selects a certain number of the candidates who qualifies in the main exam to go through the interview. The interview has a total of 50 marks which are converted to 25 marks in the final release of the merit list.
After the interview, the main list is compiled consisting marks from the main exam and the interview. The merit list for 2018 will depend on the available vacancies for the PO positions.
