SBI PO Result 2020: State Bank of India (SBI) normally declare the SBI PO results in three phases according to the three phases of SBI PO exams. Then after the release of the results the candidates can Access the results on the SBI official website once the results are released.
The candidates to access their results they only need to enter their registration email ID or username and their account password. In 2020 SBI will release the marks of the candidate who sat for the probationary exam seven days after the declaration of the results.
The final results do not include marks from the preliminary exam. Marks included are only marks from the main exam and the interview. Candidates have to pass every stage to be shortlisted in 2020 probation program of young graduates in the banking sector.
Candidates who qualify the preliminary results are invited for the application of the main exam, the candidates who are eligible for the main exam are in then invited for the interview, and the candidates who qualify on the interview are invited to join the probation training.
SBI PO Result 2020 Release Dates
The results of the preliminary exam will be released in July 2020. These results will consist of the 100 marks which are comprised of three papers which are English, Qualitative aptitude and reasoning ability. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam are normally not added to the marks of the final exam.
The results of the main exam will also be released in July 2020. The results will consist marks for the main exam that are objective and descriptive. The total marks for objective results will be 200 marks while the total marks for the descriptive results will be 50 marks.
The marks obtained in the main exam are included in the preparation of the final list. After qualifying on the main exam, the candidates are invited for an interview and their marks are decided by SBI.
Release of SBI PO Merit List 2020
The results which give the Merit list for 2020 candidates will be released in August 2020. This results will comprise of the marks for the main exam and the marks for the interview which all in total will be out of 100 marks.
The 250 total marks of marks of the main exam are converted to 75% while the 50 marks of the interview marks are converted to 25%. The two exam marks are added to make 100%. The merit list is therefore prepared from top ranked candidates from each category.
After the results are released the banks takes the opportunity for final allotment. The final allotment is made by the final results. The candidates who qualify are shortlisted and are provided with a letter of appointment. The number of vacancies in the bank determines the number of the total allotment. The final allotment of the candidates will be released in September 2020.
The letters that are sent to the successful candidates indicates the branch which the candidate is supposed to start working in. The letter also has contact details for HR of the branch which the candidate has being called to go to. The candidate can use these contacts to seek clarification from the particular branch.
